Yes — whether your skin is dry or oily, young or mature, or somewhere in between. Women of every skin type can benefit from our mask. The moisturising component is a non-oily formula recommended for all types of skin. The anti-oxidants will refresh a dull and tired complexion, or prevent yours from ever getting that way. The vitamins repair and protect against the sun damage and environmental pollutants that everyone’s skin is exposed to. Learn more about our recommendations for sun-damaged, ageing and acne-prone skin in the product description section.
Synergy is an interesting result which happens when certain groups or pairs of elements, such as enzymes or vitamins are combined, allowing them to work more effectively as a team than either one would on its own. It can be simply (if unscientifically) explained in terms of numbers denoting the “value” of a given element, vitamin or enzyme in certain situations. Say, for example, that the “value” of vitamin C on its own, with regard to improving skin elasticity or fighting sun damage, is 2; and the value of vitamin E alone is the same. But when vitamins C and E are combined, their 2+2 “value” is not 4, as one might expect, but perhaps 5 or 7. Synergism is a fascinating, and as yet largely unexplored, opportunity for combinations of active ingredients in skin care. In our Free eBook ‘HOW, WHY and When…

Absolutely not. Neither our finished product nor the raw materials have been tested on animals.
Any ingredient that works well for most people can be potentially irritating for some individuals. You may experience a slight burning sensation from the action of the vitamin C in the formula; this is normal, but trust your own feelings. Should any discomfort occur, discard the mask immediately and rinse your face with cool water (see the Cautions on the package or the page devoted mask application). Generally, the green tea extract in the gel makes it very calming and no redness or other negative effects have occurred among our participants. But if you notice an adverse reaction, please share it with us. If you would like a refund, please see our refund and return policy
Because the Michika mask
is a skin care item, none of the ingredients will ever penetrate skin barrier and get into your blood system, making it gentle and safe. The gel doesn’t contain any dangerous chemical combinations. BUT any medication you take might change skin qualities and bring on an allergic or other unexpected reaction. Therefore we advise you to check with your doctor for possible interactions, especially if you have any concerns or allergic history. A full list of all ingredients is on the package in accordance with the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission’s Mandatory Standard Of Product Labelling. The company has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification, which ensures that it maintains a superior quality standard. It uses advanced equipment and a GMP (Good Microbiological Practice) standard aseptic workshop. We have chosen our manufacturer after much thought and thorough investigation, and guarantee the high quality and purity of our formula, raw ingredients and manufacturing.
It’s certainly an age-old debate, but at Michika we think the science behind it makes the answer clear. A cloth mask acts as a barrier, trapping those vitamins and antioxidants right up against your face so they have nowhere to go but deep into the layers of your skin. While clay and mud masks can be effective, exposure to the surrounding air can cause some ingredients to evaporate, leaving your complexion high and dry. With the cloth Michika Mask, your skin will experience Michika’s powerhouse formula in its most potent form. What’s more, mud and clay masks must be laboriously cleaned off when the treatment is finished. With the Michika cloth mask that’s not necessary. Just peel it away and you’re ready to go about the rest of your day. The gel can remain on your face for added benefits; you can even apply make-up over it.
Yes. The Complexion Synergist treatment was initially developed with breastfeeding mothers in mind. So of course we made sure the formula is 100% safe for use throughout breastfeeding. Since it doesn’t penetrate the skin barrier it won’t get into your bloodstream, thus it can’t get into your milk. However, we do recommend that if you wear the mask while breastfeeding, you keep the serum away from the nipples area to prevent the serum from getting into your baby’s mouth.
Yes. The 3-in-1 Mask is all about simplifying skincare, so consider Michika as part of your morning routine in creating the perfect canvas for make-up. You don’t even need to wash the gel off your face beforehand — this moisturising formula will leave your skin feeling refreshed and revitalised, never greasy.
The serum will be absorbed into your skin and start its work immediately. After the first application skin becomes plump and well-hydrated while fine lines are less noticeable. Healthy glow and more even skin tone will be noticeable after two to three applications. In two months you’ll see long-term results — a difference in skin texture resulting from improved elasticity (collagen level). Of course, individual results vary depending upon the initial condition of the skin and the length of use.
Michika’s 3-in-1 Mask is designed to be part of your regular skincare regime. For a start, it is enough to use it one or two times a week. While you’ll see immediate results from the first application, prolonged usage will repair damage, even out skin tone and, most importantly, brighten your complexion. We’ve combined all-natural ingredients into a gentle, yet effective formula that is safe for all skin types to use daily without fear of breakouts or inflammation.
